Zebrune has a good resistance to bolting, and produces long brown bulbs which are tinged with pink. They are best grown on well-drained soil in a lovely sunny location. Shallots can be used in a variety of dishes and meals. They are especially tasty when added whole to a winter casserole! The plug plants are supplied in non-returnable trays.
